Made with pride in Bradford, PA!

Just don't use them to light cigarettes, cigars, or pipes!
You're right. Ernie Kovacs always insisted that a fine cigar needed to be lit with a stick match, and I agree. :D
I was surprised to see an interview with Ernie where he was lighting his cigar with a book of paper matches. He must've run out of wooden ones.
His point was that lighter fluid is poison and ruined the taste.

Hey, I think we're neighbors!

Sure, it just surprised me that he'd be using something as mundane as paper matches to light his Cuban. I expected him to be using long wooden matches or something. Yes, we are neighbors! I was born and raised in this area and seem to be stuck here.

Which is worse: nicotine addiction and harmful chemicals in tobacco smoke, or harmful chemicals in lighter fluid? Choose your poison, as the saying goes. Unfortunately, or maybe not, Ernie Kovacs didn't live long enough to feel the harmful effects: he died in an auto accident at age 42.

Yes they should.. I have never had a lighter that did not use a standard flint. Well a post 1929 lighter... :)
