Generally there are numbered strips under the slots and really particular users would keep a record index book.

Thank you! The only downside, is that the records on the top two racks. Can only be stored, without a sleeve. The sleeves, that I have are too big. However they fit fine on the bottom rack. Only because, the bottom rack can hold 12 inch records.

BTW: I put my Victorla, back on it's orginal cabinet. Since that one, is more stable, then the Herzog Cabinet. Which tends to shake, when I wind up, my vic.
