Here's a first try, but I notice that the Form No. and date in the lower left are a bit out of focus. I left everything set up, so I'll try another and use aperture priority.

Here's my crack at flattening George's image. Not perfect, but my Photoshop skills are not as great as they could be.

Is there some old fashioned print shops around that can print this out. I know it will add to the cost though. It looked good to me and I suspect that once it is shellacked into the lid I do not think other people will notice a few imperfections. When I look at a phonograph I do not study the lid label. I have a friend who is a graphic designer. I might be able to see if he'll do this. I also have a mint label on a machine, but my label is a lot less orange/yellow than that one. I guess the oils haven't gotten to it yet.

Unfortunately the Photoshop version still unpleasantly elongates the "Change of Reproducers" text. I've been trying on my own for a bit and have not been successful either.

I have showed this to a friend that does graphics for "Naked and Afraid". He had some success with the earlier angled shot. He ended up using Adobe's After Effects in a test run to un-warp the image. I'd say that George's last shot at f22 would be simpler to work with. Even with all that graphic fire power, it will still require quite a bit of fiddling to get it looking right.

This seems like it should be such a simple thing, yet over the years it has always stumped me on some level. If anyone has an accident and squashes their lid flat, please let me know. ;)

Regards,
Martin
