Ok. I'll bite. Ever see one of these? It mounts on end gate of Standard Model A. Carriage pushes adjustable screw, and leather brake stops mandrel!

That was me selling the 'not exactly' repro brake. I took some liberties and changed the design a bit which are obvious in the photo posted by Tony K. After seeing this thread I went down to the basement and found my stock of the brake blanks. There's about 30 left. When I get a chance I'm going to experiment with making the upward bend on the part the wire attaches to.

Tell me about it. Again today was another busy day. Working nights right now doesn't help cause I get up and basically head to work. Doesn't look like it would be hard to modify the blrakes you have to be used on the D-F machines
