In addition to the G&Ts (Gin & Tonic), I also got some nice operatic G&Ts (Gramophone & Typewriter Ltd).

I also picked up some nice 4000 & 5000 series BA Fox Trots, and took delivery of my GORGEOUS early Victrola XIV.
The 5000 series BA Fox Trots are awesome. Would be interested in knowing if there were any Golden Gate Orchestra in there.

My wife put a small wrapped gift and Father's Day card by my place at the table. While I was busy searching for other things she bought a Blue Amberol Record at the Union Show for me. We played the record, "Indiana Moon" a pleasant waltz, on the Amberola 50. It was a nice Father's Day.
It's really nice when our wives or partners make an effort to find us something related to our hobby. It makes it an extra special gift.

Union this year was great for me. I had some great sales and was able to pick up a nice cylinder record cabinet. It holds 140 records and has a crank on the side to rotate the internal carousel. I also received my late model E Idelia case, cover, horn, and elbow back from Greg Cline. They were badly refinished years ago and Greg to on the job to make it all match. The inside of the case and cover had the original reddish finish rather than the darker brown finish on other Ideals and Idelias. He matched it perfectly. THANK YOU Greg :D :D :D The reproducer was rebuilt by Steve Medved and it plays LOUD!! Thanks also to "Uncle Vanya" for the correct mahogany horn bell for this machine. I have been told by a few more veteran collectors that this might be the only known example of this late model E Idelia. I would love to hear if anyone knows of another to compare to. The first picture is the Idelia on the hay wagon at the auction. The cover is behind it. It came with a mahogany radio horn and elbow. If you search my other posts about this machine, there are much more details about it.
I can't wait for next year's show.

I picked up this rare Edison J-19 from Ron Haring. Rare and some folks don't really like them much but I think it is fun and I like unusual things in my collection. The other pictures are a few things I also picked up.

Congrats on the record Dan. It looks like it wasn't ever played.

I almost left this one out too. A great find of an 1st edition from 1914 of Caruso's caricatures singed by him! Another dealer at Union came up to me with this and I couldn't refuse.
