I'm certain that the lamp and mirrors are original to the machine. Decades back I read of a machine similar to this- in that case there was an electric lamp with a jeweled surround and the drive ran through the horn elbow. In both cases the intent was to provide a sparkling cascade of colored lights for dancers. The idea is far older than the Disco Ball- check out the top of this early 1920's Wurlitzer piano: http://www.mechanicalmusicrestoration.c ... re+279.jpg

I agree... if it's not original I vote to leave it as it is. :-)

Separately, anybody can easily do a screen capture. Here are 5 easy steps. ;)

1) open the page you want to capture a picture and "frame it up" so what you see on the screen is what you want to see.
2) hit CTRL-PRINTSCREEN on your keyboard
3) open windows "paint" (or some kind of image software)
4) CTRL-V to paste your image
5) save your image and then upload it to the board in the thread. :-)
Another method for us Windows victims:

1) Fly the cursor over the picture and Right-click the mouse
2) Select "save picture as"
3) save your image and then upload it to the board in the thread.
