It is a mirror image of a Standard motor except it is a disc phonograph motor.

Cool Cliff! Could you take a picture of the governor in those NOS crapophone motors? I am trying to find my governor. I sure would like to find a match to my motor so I can repair!

Thanks Cliff! So close and yet so far.....wrong type of governor, unfortunately. It is more like the governor on an Edison Standard or Home, with the tiny gear at the end of the shaft which turns the gear.....that is the one made out of plastic and is cracked.

Wow!!! Those are Thorens motors, and not craphophone!! I just saw the makers mark!! They look like the ones used in many portable machines. That fiber gear that contacts the governor is a part that always splits. I wonder if they could be used in a Thorens cameraphone? Those fiber gears always seem to go bad. I think you have a real good find on your hands!
