It's great that the original Kruesi model of December 1877 has been completed again. You now have a much better idea of how the sound recording was done.
However, I would like to mention that this was not Edison's first phonograph, but the first patented tinfoil phonograph. It would be helpful to be more precise at this point. Edison's patented other phonograph models, that worked on different principles, already in October 1877.
