Well, I picked it up and brought it home. It's in very nice condition, and the green is really nice -- I'd only ever seen photos of white ones before. (The whole thing is green, not just the wooden parts; the flash seems to have blanched the wicker sections.) I do think these were intended for summer bungalows at the lake -- very New England.

To my surprise, it cranks up and plays, and the Perfektone reproducer sounds pretty good. (Did they make phonograph parts for other manufacturers, too?) The speaker appears to be wood.

I can't figure out how to lift up or remove the speaker grille; perhaps there was originally a pull ring that's missing? Or perhaps they weren't made to be lifted/removed? Does anyone know?

(Oh, and I apologize if you get a stiff neck trying to look at the pictures; I don't know why they present sideways.)

The tone arm is definitely an Otto Heineman product, the reproducer isn't his usual one though.
