Or maybe you forgot how one forgets to send in dues.

As I suggested before, Paypal offers an annual subscription type payment. Our HOA switched to that model and "forgotten" fees have declined drastically ever since. Since Payment through Paypal is offered anyway for the APS dues, adding that option shouldn't be too hard...

I'm fully supportive of multiple-year memberships, and especially that PayPal option, but I'm not one of the guys (and gals) who process and keep track of memberships (thank goodness). I'll certainly draw their attention to this thread if they haven't seen it already.

Thanks for the suggestions! :)

I am a payed up member But also a snow bird. So I never get those issue because the post office considers then junk mail and they get filed. They use to save everything but no more. I have talked to then but no use. Enjoy your March issue. Minnesota snow bird.

If you send a note to APS via the "Contact Us" page, they may be able to send your summer issues to MN and your cold weather issues South.

Another thing to consider would be to make these available online to paid members about the same time they are put in the mail. This would be especially beneficial for those of us "cross pond". I'm not sure how technically complex this would be but just a suggestion. :monkey:

Hi Bruce,
The latest issues of the magazine are put online just as soon as they are indexed.

As an aside, how many of us are familiar with the Subject Index that exists for the APS magazine? It's at the bottom of this page:
https://www.antiquephono.org/back-issue ... honograph/

Mike Sherman graciously volunteers to index each issue. The March 2019 issue has not been indexed yet, but it should be soon now...
