While I appreciate you're enthusiasm, I think our methods of approach are far apart. I'm well aware of all of the issues it has, but I will do my best with what I have. This is just a "for fun" project, an amberola 30, something I can experiment new things on and divert from the typical routine I take in a restoration. I'm going to keep all of these parts together and not worry about the fact that they got jumbled up at some point.NEFaurora wrote:Yeah, That's a Series 1 Dataplate.. That Governor Cover is a Series 2 Governor Cover though. A Series 1 Governor cover has the hole for external Speed Adjuster. Your machine correctly came with a Nickeled Reproducer for sure Originally. The Bedplate seems to be a Series 1 Bedplate as it has the early Countersunk Screwholes. Don't know about some of the other Motor parts as I can't see them..
What are your plans for the machine??
Here are some Series 1 Bedplates w/Motors on ebay that could save you some time and money on the restoration... I think that they are both the same item... Seller is well known (Mark)...Croakinfrog..
