I paid a little bit more than that about 5 years ago for a Vic VI alone (but with the rarer brass #16 horn), so (depending on condition) 5800 for both gramophone and cabinet is not bad at all. I realize that the market may be slightly less active now though, but nice pieces should retain much of their value of the "heady" years of a few years ago.

Well,as a long time collector myself.I'm still trying to figure out how a person would even think that the horn would be sold off the machine after reading the first post..5800.00 WITH record cabinet is a very good price indeed.Maybe sticking to a lesser $$$ area of machines is better for some out there!!!???.

Exactly my thoughts...$5800.00 for all three pieces-----will seperate the cabinet and sell the machine and horn seperate from the cabinet with a price adjustment.....

Can you advise if the machine and cabinet are still for sale. If so I would like to see photos and will provide email address to send scans. Long time collector and cash buyer. Thanks, Larry
