It's a built-in job, sort of like the Auditorium Orthophonic Victrola. The cabinet's roomy - - something like 4000 square feet, and in a Queen Anne style...

I have to say that this is really a beautiful machine - the likes of which I have never seen before.

A beautiful phonograph. I have one that is missing the hinges on the baffle. I am lookin for those hinges and I really appreciate the close-up photo. Again, a truly historic and beautiful machine.

Very cool and rare machine, indeed. I had mine for sale at Union (seen in a couple of Jerry's pictures of the show), but alas no takers.

I believe that you are actually referring to the Victrola XII, not the XVII. The second iteration of the ‘Elite’ sported corner columns.
