I don't like the refinish job on that Pathé one bit. It probably started out as a dark antique oak with subdued color touches- now it just looks gaudy to me- it seriously needs to be darkened and then gone over to accentuate the highlights. I suppose the torn diffusor cone could be switched for one from a more ordinary machine but I've heard of some people having success sending them to radio speaker restorers.
