I suggest an appliance dolly, a moving blanket and some nylon ratchet tie down straps. I have moved a few and it was pretty easy, but I also collect hit and miss engines, so the credenza is lightweight by comparison.
Seriously, the appliance dolly is a huge help.

The 182 lbs sounds about right, I would have guessed 200lbs. Mine has been sitting in the same place for many years with no thoughts of moving either by me or by itself.

That photo taken of the Credenza hanging out of the back of that Ford was taken at Union last year, I remember it well. Apparently it made it from Union to it's new home in Iowa like that. I would've been sweating bullets.

I’m laughing so hard at this post I’m literally in tears!

Anyway, I’m having a big sale Tomorrow, Friday, and this weekend and hopefully sell the two VV-XIs and the Edison London Console since I’ve upgraded to a C-19 and VV-111 and don’t need them anymore. And I’m going to use all the money I get from the sale and buy me a Credenza!!

Where there's a will there's a way!

Well I sold the London Console Diamond Disc Machine and the two VV-XIs I had just so I could afford a Credenza. (And plus keep my folks happy they got some space back)

Anyway, I have a new rule for myself when it comes to floor model Victrolas since I have a limit to what I can own:

Only buy Victrola models with 3 or 4 spring motors, and only buy machines with gold plated hardware. Quality over quantity.

So no more floor models below an XVI.

Congratulations on being able to sell three common machines in one local sale. May I ask whereabouts you are located and if you got reasonable money for them? Where I live I would have a hard time to sell one, let alone three. Anyway, congratulations again and good luck for your quest to get a Credenza.

I’m in Valley Nebraska a small town just west of Omaha! I got about $360 total selling all three. My front lawn is not Macy’s or Walmart, and this ain’t American Pickers. Plus I got hundreds More selling other items at my sale. It all ads up! Since I sold all my big ticket items yesterday, I’m just asking folks to make me an offer and I’ll take it! If they don’t sell by Monday its all going to goodwill!
