Just a suggestion... If you want, you can try to restore the one you already have, and see if it works properly. You only need to add some kind of pointer to the outer big screw; it supposed to have an arrow pointer marking the speed on the dial. The thing is too see if the run length of the screw moves the lever just the precise amount to make it work properly in the needed range, and if this is suited for the arrow pointer run on the dial. To try it is the best. The new dial, pointer and all that Dave D is offering looks nice, and could be a good substitute for your rusted one...

Hi,I am again.I have finished my new case and gramophone ,only I will install a new brass horn.I have made shellac finish .I have installed a new speed control mechanizm( Dave D have send me).
