A True Tone 2 is worth it folks. Here’s an example:

I had a TrueTone in my Amberola 30 for a long time bought from Larry himself--it worked wonderfully, with (in the right places) great bass sound for the 30's tiny old horn. Currently I have one of Herman's "Wondertone" plastic diaphragms in for brighter voice response but there is a lot to be said for Larry's great TrueTone! (Trust me, I am not getting rid of it--it will be worth putting in another cylinder phonograph sometime soon!)
