I appericate the photo. But I have wall to wall carpet in my Condo, and I have my S-19, where I like it. I'm not worried about casters.

Did you look behind your record slots with a flahlight you might be lucky like me and find the owners manual, bill of sale and shipping instuction all in the back.It was funny I had no idea what it was and my wife and I fished it out with a coat hanger and we were thinking it might be a money stash that time forgot....


I even found needles that had fallen down into the horn area so it must have had the 78 attachment some time in it's life.

No such luck? I would have heard something when my father and I brought it home.

On the caster discussion, one problem I've encountered is that modern casters are unable to carry the weight of a Diamond Disc Machine. Granted, the ones I tried came from the local hardware store, but I could not find any that were more substantial. They bend out of shape within a month.

Yea, that's why I would never use modern ones. The one's that Kevan, has most likely brass, or metal, and would support the weight. Most casters of today are plastic.

I remember putting modern casters on a Victrola XVI that I used to have,but they didn't hold up very well.edisonplayer
