I have two Edison Army Navy machines. One of them served on the front lines in a field hospital. Of course, I'm not going to repaint it because it even has the F H 351 stencils in red paint identifying it. The top was used in the past as a work bench and some white and gray paint got on it, which I will try to remove. The cabinet on the other one is so bad it is going to require a repaint as the original paint is so worn even the stenciling is gone. And a cat put his scratches into the wood. My question is do they still make the original type stencils for WWI Army. The letters are very plain simple block letters with no serifs or fancy stuff on them.

Looks like this thread got hijacked and the subject was changed. It was supposed to be about taking out an Edison motor.
