Get 'em whilst they are young! The intense concentration on the little 'uns face with that screwdriver is a real picture :)

I got drawn in at a very young age by always wanting to see the Edison fireside phonograph that belonged to my father but was kept at my grandmothers house As my mum didn't want the "junk" in her house!! So I only got to see it very occasionally. But in hindsight seeing it only rarely just drew me in even more :D

I'm still waiting for the next generation to arrive as my children have no interest in my collection and neither do any of my family members. I'm just hoping that I can spark that interest in a future grandchild....

My Godson's 2 year old girl, Vivian, was completely fascinated by my Regina Corona changer. We went through all 12 discs as she danced around to the music. It's both wonderful to see young ones experience these "new things" and to realize that these 100+ year old things can still do what they were made to do: entertain.
