Seems our little game was very short-lived. The very first to respond was correct and we declare Jukejunkie to be the winner. PM has been sent.
These shiny stainless steel rods are tumbling media for cleaning and polishing parts. This method works well on brass, copper, nickel, and many other items. Not recommended for fragile items, as the tumbler spins quite fast.
