PHILADELPHIA has canceled their St Patrick’s Day parade also. Seems to be getting worse now that they have declared this a pandemic. We should know something soon about the Wayne NJ Show as Michael should be mailing out the applications about a week from now.

I'm not sure it matters whether events are cancelled or not. The shows/events won't amount to much if no one goes out of fear... A collector friend who is also a clock and watch guy was scheduled to go to TimeCon, a clock and watch show for AWCI members and the public, in Cincinnati on March 23-29th. He goes every year, but this time he's cancelling out of concern. So, who knows...

AWCI just announced that TimeCon is cancelled.

I expect a lot more events to shut down. Whether these stretch into June is very much an open question.

I’ve had a long-planned trip up the East Coast as far as Maine, timed to hit the Wayne show on the southbound journey. Mama Bear has just advised me that I will NOT be going. She has elderly parents, 80 & 90, and feels that I would put them in danger.

Raphael, I think that’s a smart move.

I believe the Donley Auction is selling the contents of the museum between now and Union. A good portion of sales will be to phone bidders that pick things up at the Union show. I would expect there to be a strong incentive to have the last Union sale.

I have Music Master horns that were repaired in Portland and go back to Minnesota. I have six Schwinn bikes to pick up between Oregon and Chicago and two talking machines to be picked up. I will deliver five record cabinets and four machines as well as a few horns. I gave my word and will make the trip with or without Union. :?

No one knows how long it will be before the virus is stopped. Here is the best place to find out what the risks are.
