Wow, that J2-65 is almost identical to the VV 2-65 made in Camden. I had a very early one once (4 digit serial) which was stripped for parts as the case was in really rough shape--didn't respond well for re-covering. They are (in good condition) very nice machines.

The gold pinstripe round the inside of the walnut panel in the lid is a neat touch! I guess some of the later ones had that; mine didn't. It really dresses it up.

I also found a photo of a Credenza. I have not studied the Victrola models, but know this is a top model, you must yourself check if there is some difference between this Credenza and the US made Credenza, or if they are exact the same in appearance.
