This isn't directed towards anybody in specific, but I find it a bit disappointing that in the lack of a moderator people seem to be a lot more loose with their political comments. I thought the "no politics" rule was something we could all agree on, but apparently not.

I agree. It's really quite tiresome, and permeates enough of our lives. I apologize for getting caught up in the vitriol.
