In recent years, I've been to both the Sarasota Classic Car museum which is wonderful and the Edison/Ford Estates Museum in Ft. Myers at bit further South...which is awesome. They say that the machines in the Edison/Ford Estates Museum site are even better than the Orange, NJ site. All I can say is Go to both! ...and charge up your Phone to take lots of pics! Both are wonderful!

They fully restored the Edison and Ford Summer homes just a few years ago...and they did fantastic jobs on both. Both of the houses are fully furnished with the Original Furniture of both Edison and Ford when they lived there. Both houses display like the occupants (Edison and Ford) never left...Absolutely fantastic... Both the Houses and the rest of the campus was restored to what it looked like in the 1920's.

Anyone old enough to have visited the Sarasota museum when it was "Horns' Cars of Yesterday"? I am. Sometime in the mid to late 1950's, my family was vacationing in Sarasota and my dad and I visited the museum. It was there I first saw a Tucker. My dad had been in the auto repair business most of his life and he told me the story of the Tucker. Somewhere I still have three little packs of cards depicting the various cars in the collection.
