That cabinet is in better shape than the one that has been sitting in my living room for the past 18 years. I assume the top will require work, but honestly, the rest that I see will clean up nicely as-is. Credenzas are wonderful beasts that have the ability to amaze. This should be kept together.

Here is the problem that I have with statements like this on this forum. You have not seen it in person, nor by close up pictures of the damage. You are making your assessment completely on speculation. Your speculation is not an accurate assessment! The side molding is split. The bun feet are 50% there and missing pieces. The top looks like it was beat with a chain, the veneer is missing in places and bubbled in others. Do I need to go on???? At this point it is beyond repair, but I am offer it out to give someone an opportunity. If it doesn't sell as a whole machine, based on the condition, The parts can go to people that really need them to recover NICE cabinets that people have stripped out for Stereo Cabinets or Bars!

So if you think this needs to stay together, buy it.

I can deliver it in pieces.. :P Remember Radar O'reilly in MASH shipping a Jeep home????
Ah, but then I have pieces to repair another big machine I'm not supposed to have! A bit of a conundrum.

Fair enough. I apologize for making those assumptions. However I'm curious why did you not show pictures of any of those defects? That would have been useful for a potential buyer. I was actually considering what it would take to replace my machine. Certainly you are justified in doing whatever you need to do to get your space back. I do wish you luck in the sale of this or part of the machine.

Thanks for the reply......

Whenever people are serious in purchasing a machine, everyone asks for different pictures, specifically suited for them. So to load up pictures and them go get more, it is a bit of work. Also, everyone has their own list of questions when it comes to condition of the machine. So I wait to be prompted if someone is interested. Also, if I talk about the machine being parted out, I am implying that it is in rough condition.

Now, if you are looking for a machine to replace yours, I have a very nice 2 Door Credenza Listed here that I am sure you would like. If you have interest in that machine, let me know and we can work details off line......
