Upload as usual, go into Studio, select Videos. Under "visibility", click the current setting for the video you want to change - it will probably say "public". Then choose "unlisted" or "private". I use unlisted because it allows you to send the video URL to anyone but the video doesn't show up on your channel or searches. If you use private, you can only send it to specified users and I think they have to have a password too.

You may also be able to set this while you're uploading your video. It's been a while since I've done that so I'm not sure.
Correct, in fact you can't finish uploading it without choosing private, unlisted or public.

Thank you. That particular solo was one of the hardest ones I’ve done :?

I believe I have that album on Verve LP. Did it first come out on 78? If it did, it was in the 50s I think and the record would be vinyl. Are you playing a vinyl record on your Cortez?

Great solos David! I had a pal at high school who was given a contralto sax, and I remember how he struggled just to get a single decent note out of it. It left me with a life-lasting feeling that saxophones are really tough instruments to master. You have my most sincere admiration. :rose:

Thank you everyone for the kind replies!

The record is on the mercury label, released in 1952. The record number is 11089. Yes I did play this on my cortez.... I guess I probably shouldn't be playing 1950's 78's on it? I could see how that could be damaging to the record, it is a lot softer than older 78's.

If you guys enjoyed the two videos I posted, I could keep posting them on here ( or maybe I could start a Youtube haha). I do at least 2 transcriptions a month for my prof at college.

Marco, playing the saxophone well isn't easy for sure! I am still a long way off from mastering the skill ;) .. time to go practice haha.

Cheers,

David
