You can't really go by "important". The Teddy Roosevelt wax cylinders weren't reissued until after he died, and even then they only did 3 of the 4. There are lots of other "important" wax cylinders that never got a reissue, especially in the classical and operatic series - Slezak, Bernhardt, etc. Also Sophie Tucker, Stella Mayhew, Marie Dressler, etc.

I couldn't believe it!That cracked cylinder sold for $145! :o I hope whoever's bought it won't try to play it!CRRAAKK!!PS;Yesterday I mentioned it to a friend I also told about the non-cracked Shackleton that my late friend Arthur Pare had. edisonplayer.

Yes,there were a lot of things on wax Amberol that weren't issued in the Blue.edisonplayer
