You can't really go by "important". The Teddy Roosevelt wax cylinders weren't reissued until after he died, and even then they only did 3 of the 4. There are lots of other "important" wax cylinders that never got a reissue, especially in the classical and operatic series - Slezak, Bernhardt, etc. Also Sophie Tucker, Stella Mayhew, Marie Dressler, etc.Kevan wrote:One would think that the Amberol cylinder #473 was so important that it would have been made in blue Amberol also.
