You never know unless you ask. The machine and all the records belonged to the Grandfather and they had no idea of value so just put $150 out there to see if anyone bit. I will post progress pics once I get on it. I will be nice when it's done.

I love it, looks like a fun project. I missed out on a Credenza with some veneer issues. I told the guy I only had 50 dollars at the time, he said sold. But I had no way to get it home

Have alot of high esteem for you---what anyone does to keep a machine the way it was meant to be and not turned into wine rack or bathroom towel holder is ---REALLY A GOOD COLLECTOR.

Actually I have it my cabin so I can work on during deer and bear season. All I have done so far is set the automatic stop and I can say I am really impressed with the sound!! Clarity is superior to my other phonographs. Can’t wait to tune it up.

Phonographs in the hunting woods? Neat. I like what happened with this machine. Great save for $25.

I did a similar thing with a Victrola 16 i bought last year and started restoring last week. Opened the doors and someone had sawed the shelf out and drilled a 3 inch hole in the bottom. lots of extra work i didn't bargain on. Yours looks like just a lot of years of improper storage and care.
They are always worth it in the long run, saving old machines from the scrap heap. I hope your restore goes well and look forward to an update.
