Extract from the conditions of sale:
“for lots acquired via the Interencheres.com platform, the buyer’s fees are increased by an additional 3% HT of the auction price (see CGV of the Interencheres platform).
for the lots acquired via the Drouotlive.com platform, the buyer’s fees are increased by an additional 1.5% HT of the auction price (see CGV of the Drouotlive.com platform).”
In conclusion, there is a 3.6% tax (vat included) if you bid via Interencheres and a 1.8% tax (vat included) if you bid via Drouotlive.
On the listing, you can click on “conditions de vente” to get all the details in French and English.

Does anyone know where they came from ? A big collector such as Daniel Marty ? perhaps ? BUT why did they collect so many Exceldas ( 15 ) and multiple Mikiphones and 4 dolls WHY ? l'esprit ahurissant AND it is part 1 !

The last Excelda is the one to bid on as it will go for the least BUT will any make 200 Euros ? there's six on Ebay for loadsamoney although 3 are Indian Repros

I think that the reason is that these machines were not well appraised. The auctioneer probably imagined or was told that there are hundreds of Excelda collectors that will be fighting for these lots, when in reality the previous owner is likely the only one around that was interested in piling up Exceldas. There are millions of experts in Napoleon III furniture, but very very few people who would be capable to even distinguish an Edison from a Pathé phonograph. After all we are into a very small (and dwindling) hobby.

I've seen al the catalogue, 225 machines, many repeated, Exceldas, puck lyres... But it seems that the price appraisals are mad! Some rare machines are incredibly cheap...

... and other way around, some common ones incredibly expensive!

Marty died five years ago, it took a long time for his heirs to get rid of his collection!
