Actually, Scott's wonderful machines are technically hand driven "Phonographs" (except for Mike's the Edison Parlor model and Hardy) all the rest are Gramophone's and Graphophone's.....sorry, I couldn't resist...

.
The K&R Grammophon I posted was found in an attic estate in Scotland and was auctioned by Christopher Proudfoot of Christies Auction back in Dec 1981. Then sold again in 2016 from the estate of a German collector.

Wayne,
Point taken. I knew I was making a technical error when I posted the title. I fixed it some but still not completely correct as there is a hand driven Toy Columbia Graphophone and United States Talking Machine in there also. I’ll take pics of any hand driven machine from someone’s collection.

Mlund2020 wrote:Of all the phonographs, the early Hand-Driven Phonographs have always been my favorite. I have always found their primitive elegance and simplicity captivating. They are unquestionably the most cherished phonographs in my collection. Here are some from my collection, now let’s see yours.

That's a wonderful collection, and for those of us who drool over such rarities, a great visual reference. Thank you Mike.
Cheers,
