I have the same 16 as Tictalk in circassian and mahogany, I believe it was the first style made after L-doors were discontinued and favor the style over the the "newer" versions that followed. The bad things with mine are the circassian was electrified in the 40's or 50's and the mahogany was treated with an antiquing kit. Your machine is really nice. Does you machine have the silver pull record binders?

Hi Emerson, My 16 did not have any albums when I acquired it, And I do prefer the earlier 16 style as you.

I think you are correct in saying it is American Walnut. It is a beautiful cabinet. Nice figuring.
