Group,

I ordered a Nagaoka MP-110 along with a MP-3.5 for my Edison Diamond Disc records. I'll let you know how it works out.

I’m eager to hear how well that works out. I have a Nagaoka MP-150 that I use for LPs and both a 3.0 stylus and 3.5 stylus that I have used for 78s, but I haven’t tried any of my Diamond Discs on that setup yet.

Group,

I received the Nagaoka MP-110 and a MP-3.5 Mil conical stylus today.

Set-up works very well with my Diamond Disc records and I will be re-recorded my collection with this set-up. Less noise and better channel balance (L vs R should be 45 degrees). I am using a load of 4 Grams.

That’s great! I’ll have to try my Diamond Discs on the similar setup that I have.

More info about 3.5 mil for Diamond Disc:

As you would expect, for a good record, the 3.5 mil is just right. However, for a worn record, a larger size can improve the sound by riding higher. I have many records so I'll start with the good ones. Later on when I'm feeling rich, I'll get more sizes.
