Nice find. Can you check to see what the Butterbeans and Susie record is. I've been looking for "I want a hot-dog for my roll". It was never officially released on 78rpm.

My suggestion is not to play these with steel needles. They appear to be genuine rarities and should be preserved as much as possible. Play them and perhaps record them on good, modern equipment instead.

Agreed. I actually had 77 records. 70 nice and 7 cracked or a small half moon chunk missing from the record. The Liston that I played had a quarter sized chunk missing. I haven't played any of the other non-damaged records.

What a great garage sale find! I've never seen or heard of test pressings with normal but blank labels.

Which begs the question. Are they test pressings or just screwup at the print shop/factory?

It would seem like a test pressing should have some hand written info on the label. Other Okeh test pressings have white labels as well, like other companies do.

I would assume a factory employee took "unsellable" discs home.
