I'm guessing this is one of those cylinders that anyone who has a copy enjoys listening to and won't want to sell unless they've got a duplicate copy.
If it's a late issue 2 min record, it may prove hard to get too because they were made from the same formula as 4 min Amberols which can self destruct sitting on a shelf. Lower production and survival rates could make it hard to find and expensive unfortunately.

Not in the same league, but this happens to me with "Oh By Jiingo", one of my favourite acoustic recordings... I have it on victor batwing, I believe it's Ada Jones alone.

It was sung by Margaret Young,her first record and her only Victor. She made several discs for Brunswick.edisonplayer.

Thanks! It's true! Victor 18666... Curiously, I knew that song since a kid. My father had the Chet Atkins version on the fabulous RCA lp. I loved it.
I never listened again to that song (except on the Chet version) until I bought the Margaret Young version, thirty five years later!

Same happened to me with Oh By Jingo! and Arkansas Traveler
Here in Spain they also issued some rca LPs by Chet, dad had two of them, among our favourite records. So until I got acoustic Victors of these songs, much later, I always remembered Atkins versions.
