Worth noting: it didn't show up in the first series of photos, but in the second I see you have a vertical cut adapter. Nice! It's that short segment of tubing jutting from a socket in the baseboard back at the rear right. When that tube is substituted for the similar tubing in your tonearm now (the bit without gold), the reproducer will mount rotated from its current position by 90 degrees to face forward, the correct orientation for vertical cut records.

That cleaned up nicely! I always liked the royal purple felt that silvertone used. I worked on one for a guy a while ago, it had a nice sound when it was all fixed up. I’m sure you’ll be happy with it!
