I've been mainly using PLA for the 3d printed soundboxes that I have been experimenting with. PLA is harder than ABS (but more brittle). The weight will be lower than Aluminium (and even less if the part is not printed solid) but, based on my sounbox experience, I doubt there will be any impact on the sound quality.gunnarthefeisty wrote: Tue May 11, 2021 10:49 pm Would PLA printer plastic (or ABS for that matter) work for this if I could design or scan one that would fit?
