Very nice maybe a little bit of cleaning is needed on the cabinet and lid to bring it back to life.

brighten up the oak. The reproducer is out for servicing so this will
be a good time to do some detail work on the box.

Just be sure when you clean it, don't remove the green dye. That's original [changed to antique oak in 1906, if I remember correctly].

So they put a green dye to "antique" the oak? Sounds like I should perhaps avoid
using 0000 steel wool like I normally would.
