Bob thank you for that info. Yes, my lid closes too, but you can feel it slightly hitting the head of the needle screw. Anyway, I dusted it off with a soft brush, and it just shines. The unmarred screws are a gorgeous blue!
I haven't seen a nicer reproducer since the Clark/Johnson that I have on my 1898 Berliner, which also still has lovely blued screws, but I think this one has it beat!
