The missing lifting bar does not seem to have put off the bidders then! Is it just screwed in and fairly easy to replace?
Out of interest what would be the weight of a complete soundbox of this design?

The steel lifting bar has a diameter of 0.1125" and a rounded end. It projects by ¾" and is screwed into the brass platform. If broken off, the remainder would have to be very carefully drilled out. Thread size is 6 BA (47.9 TPI).

Graham, Thanks very much for the link to soundbox weights, and the detail of the lifting bar dimensions will no doubt be most useful to whoever bought it
