This is the greatest, most magnificent record player that ever existed. Brilliant design, crisp carving and perfect proportions give this model a powerful presence that is not found with any other machine. There's a lot of well designed and artistic machines that were built which could be considered 9s or 9.5s but this one is the only perfect 10. The A450 Louis XVI is a silver cup champion. If there ever was a machine that completely takes the cake, this is it. I hope to someday own both versions- the A400 and A(B)450. Congratulations!! Do you know any history about it? Its always fascinating to know who the owners were on day one and what style of house higher end machines like this one were in.

Thank you so much, it’s such a beautiful machine and gorgeous cabinet, sadly I don’t know the history on the machine, I imagine whoever originally bought it rarely used it. I was curious about the history of the machine as well, I wonder if there are purchase records out there.
