Early Victor changers are notorious for having pot metal that has essentially disintegrated. One of our members had 10-11 sets of pot metal parts remade at a cost of around $5K a couple of years ago. He sold them all, essentially at cost, in a pretty short time. You can search the board for "victor changer replacement parts" and find the very long related threads.

you know, I'm surprised that more members haven't looked into 3D printing and casting. You can make molds real easy with a 3D printer then make a clay mold, and pour in aluminum or brass, or really whatever metal you prefer. 3D designing isn't the easiest, though.52089 wrote: Thu Oct 28, 2021 11:00 pmEarly Victor changers are notorious for having pot metal that has essentially disintegrated. You know anything about 3d designing, please let me know if so--I'm wondering if it's possible to reprint the pulley end of an Edison Gem mandrel. But I'm not real sure.gunnarthefeisty wrote: Thu Oct 28, 2021 11:43 pmyou know, I'm surprised that more members haven't looked into 3D printing and casting. That's wild--I am trying to use FreeCAD and TinkerCAD but I know very little about this. Not real sure how to get the thing apart.
