Thanks all. I haven't fully wound it for fear of spring breakage. The spring was fairly tight though for the video. My goal in the video was to show the intricate details of the machine playing.
I have 3 other Eagles that are special in their own right. One is in a custom-made exhibitor case that holds the entire machine and records. Another is equipped with a Systemmes Bettini reprodcer and original Bettini horn set up on an Eastern Talking Machine brand and the last one is Eagle serial number 65 (80065)
Have to agree Eagles are very interesting for sure.

I agree that this Eagle has had the attention of a talented machinist. When I examined and photographed this machine (it appears on page 112 of A World of Antique Phonographs) I was impressed with the ingenuity that went into the modification.
It appears that Edisonia purchased carrying cases from Hawthorne & Sheble, then applied its own markings.

Thanks George. I noticed the similarities between the H&S and Edisonia cases, which explains why.

I didn't think that there was such a thing. I know about earlier Edison Gems with 2&4 minute. edisonplayer.

Could you post pictures of the other three you have? I would enjoy seeing them.

Exhibitor Eagle has custom made case with a pull down display table, compartments for the machine, horn, reproducer, crane and records. The horn, crank and crane are all custom made.

Thanks for reposting the link to that thread. I had forgotten how interesting it was. Some absolutely interesting machines.
