Everyone:
I just received my 10-50 selector lever, and want to show you a comparison to what I'm replacing. Keep in mind that the other casting was pretty much the only widely-available replacement, and mechanically did the job it was intended for. I never tried to finish it or paint it.
Here are some comparison pictures: The new casting looks correct down to the color, fits snugly on the selector shaft, and didn't require a bit of finishing work.
I even noticed that the door of the 10-50 closes more completely! The earlier casting was thick enough to press against the inner surface, sometimes causing the light to stay on.

I'm delighted with the casting, and hope anybody who needs one will order one while they're being made. I hope further different castings will be available, and judging from this first effort they ought to be excellent. Thanks rlb955!

Very impressive. It take the quality of available castings to a whole new level. I to hope other parts will be avilable in time.

I'm not sure what part to do next.What part does everyone need the most?

record lift pad would be great as its highly visable and previous reproductions didn't look great or fit particulalry well. After that the base for the arm that the records hang from. Not sure is others feel the same. If you do the other parts will you finish then off or sprayed and felted or will it be bare metal?
