I found a Lido amoungst my virtual collection also.
I dont have a pic of an Odeon unfortunately, but I'm sure they were exactly the same, including the no.4 style soundbox.

Here's a "folk art" phono I once owned. I think the consensus was that it was made from some sort of kitchen box?

the arty odeon was quite different here the odeon bauhaus portable

The builder does say in the ad that it works, sort of. I think this person is on the right track with the mechanics but needs a lot of work on the acoustics.
