You're making this way too hard for yourself. Take a breath, read Gov. Flyball's description slowly, and take your time. There is nothing you can do to break anything, so put that out of your mind. You are so VERY close to getting this right. You simply need to get the brake part sitting on the 2 little pointy areas of the motor casting. The pointy areas are supposed to sit in the 2 little divits in the brake part. The idea is that the brake part can then "teeter totter" over the pointy areas. The spring that rides on the brake decides which way the brake tips, as in "on" or "off". You can 100% do this!!! Just relax!

This is a fairly common problem, it flummoxed me the first time it occurred as well. It has also happened to several of my customers, who in their enthusiasm to unpack their machine pulled it out when removing the tissue paper packing that I use. I've even had to explain the solution in Chinese (thanks to Google translator).
Jerry is 100% right, just walk away from it for a while, then go back and study the piece and the mech for a bit - the solution may jump right out at you. That's the way crossword puzzles are solved: not by focusing on the word you're stuck on but by working other areas of the puzzle and then coming back to the problem area with your mindset in a different frame.

Issue is I can see one pointy thing on the casting but I can’t see the other one? Good to know I’m not alone but I’m looking everywhere for that other Pivot point that’s not the one next to the speed knob and I just can’t see it? Ok so where is this other pivot point? I see the one point and not the other. What am I overlooking here? What am I just not seeing? I said I was gonna ask a 1000 stupid obvious and really specific questions!

Looks like you have it pretty close to correct to me. The blue arrows in my picture below point to the alignment divots for the yoke. The on/off spring steel tab should hold the subject Triumph speed control yoke in place if you've installed it correctly. This was a pretty crappy design, in my opinion, as the yoke can come loose and fall down in between the spring barrels and the casting pretty easily. It very commonly loosens and falls off.

Try removing the brake arm and look at it. You will see on the underside the two divets.
Now look the motor casting. There will be two pointy protrusions. The pointy protrusions form the fulcrum that align and fit into the divets.
With the brake are removed, take a photo. It should be obvious once the arm is removed.

If anyone wants to see here’s the other part of that switch
I’m still 100% convinced I got a bad spring here or it’s in too tight I know that spring goes in a certain place over that screw.
