BTW folks, here's the information I have other than photos: "The mechanics pieces move and will play a recorder. It seems to eject the record. Many moving parts not sure what its suppose to do. It has been sitting for 50yrs as we know. Will need restoration."
Sounds like the changer mechanism at least works partially (plays and ejects) so that's half of it.

Also, does anyone have the measurements of a 10-50? I have a credenza, and if it's only wider I might be able to convince my parents to replace that (although I'd be replacing it awfully soon after getting it)

It's tough to tell in the photo, but it looks like it may be a coin-op. That would make it even cooler to me. Mr. Baumbach's "Victor Data Book" mentions them. Either way, the left door glass is way cool. First one I've seen.
IF the cast parts are good, I wouldn't recommend putting in the garage Gunnar, or they won't be for long. It really should be kept in a much more climate controlled environment. Hope you wind up with it. Very neat machines, but beasts to move!!

I sold a 10-50 to Will Bender a few years ago. Here's a picture of him carting it, without any assistance, toward his trailer. I wanted to document the moment because I knew nobody would believe me if I told them. You see Will here on the last leg of a trip from the basement, through a narrow hallway, through an even narrower door, up a 60 foot concrete ramp. With a smile on his face, he makes it look easy. It's not. He also makes the 10-50 look manageable. It's not. It is -- as Steve says -- a beast.
