The machines make the hobby ------but the so many people---like Don, is what makes the hobby Great. He will be pictured in memories like so many of the others that may not be there in the physical----but will be there in the spiritual visions.

Maria and I are very saddened by this news. Don was the nicest man one could meet and was a inspiration to the phonograph hobby. Always positive and upbeat! We will miss him greatly. Rest in peace Don. Our condolences go out to Bobbie.

Don was a most generous man and was talented beyond imagination. His contribution to the hobby leaves a big hole. A wonderful man that will be missed by so many. I am having a hard time imagining a phonograph show without him there.

I don't know how to exactly express this. I had just met him (and his very patient wife) at the Charlotte radio show in early 2022 and the phonograph shows in Wayne last year. Made some trades and deals with him, super nice man. He was a loving and fatherly guy at least to me and I had just known him for only a year or so! He will be greatly missed. I don't know what else to say.

I'm floored and very saddened. Don was a fixture in every aspect of the phonograph collecting community for as long as I can remember. He always had a smile on his face and ready to visit.
He will be greatly missed, our thoughts are with Bobbie and family.
