No real phono items for Christmas here but we did take the opportunity to make a couple new Christmas videos :)

Your children are so adorable, I love them dancing! I remember your video from last year where they started blowing out your candles on the tree. ;)

It's kind of an interesting contrast comparing the before video with the obvious "aftermath" one, too...

Thank you for sharing them; it's almost like living Christmas vicariously through others' experiences. :rose:

Well I treated myself to some more records over the christmas period and also just after christmas to a "new" cabinet for my VE9-55. The one I have for my machine is badly damaged and I reckon its cheaper to import a gutted one from the US and bring it here to New Zealand than fixing up the original one. It should arrive her late Feb. In case you aren't familiar with this model this is what one looks like. As some would say a musical wardrobe indeed!

Victor Electrola 9-55
A most beautiful (and heavy, I bet) musical wardrobe!

Is is truly cheaper to import one? Wow, that concept is just unreal to me...

Do you treat yourself to any fun records you've been looking awhile for? :rose:

Oh, my... it appears Santa was VERY good to you!!

I would also like to hear more about the fan, as well...

Am I the only one who wound up with coal in my stocking this year? ;)

Cool! This fan looks like it's coming from the spaceship of Buck Rogers or Flash Gordon. I love it. :)

An early fan WITH a light bulb on it? That about covers early electricity in one piece!!

Hey Jerry, the grass in your back yard is pretty green for the middle of winter! :P

That was truly fascinating... I even forwarded the video link to my husband at work as I knew that he (as a physicist and engineer) would be very interested in viewing it.

Thank you so much for sharing it! :rose:
