Maybe I should try to get over my Hawaiian music prejudice and start enjoying it.

That's some serious low hanging fruit out there, for those that are into it.

A lot of so-called Hawaiian records are just the twang of a badly tuned guitar and some flat singing, surfing on the wave of popularity. But as I posted before there are absolute gems to be found. You can still find them for a reasonable price. Most of the rest is pure cr*p.
